The Library Services Desk Assistant is responsible for providing front-line services at the Library Services Desk. This position will work up to 24 hours per week. Duties include opening and/or closing the library according to the established library hours schedule, providing assistance to users who need help with reference and informational questions (in-person, email, and chat), responding to patrons' needs and questions, checking in/checking out library materials, responding to building emergencies, ensuring appropriate use of library resources and facilities, and overseeing undergraduate student workers during evening and weekend shifts.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree plus two years of customer service related work experience.
