Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
Northeastern University School of Law's (NUSL) Center for Co-op and Career Development seeks an experienced career advisor to assist the Director of Private Sector with preparation and student advising for NUSL's robust upcoming Law Firm On Campus Interviewing (OCI) program. Law Firm OCI runs at ABA-accredited law schools nationwide and is the single largest hiring program at NUSL, connecting 2L law students with law firms in major cities throughout the United States. The application process for OCI unfolds over the course of 2-3 months and involves multiple steps: 1) group presentations to orient students to the process, 2) individual strategy meetings, 3) extensive review and revision of 100+ student application materials, 4) preparing students for initial screening interviews through strategy discussions and mock interviews, and 5) executing a virtual OCI program.

Under the guidance and direction of the Center for Co-op and Career Development's Director of the Private Sector, the short-term advisor's focus will be on in depth review and revision of student application materials and interview preparation. Excellent writing skills, a strong attention to detail, and experience in supporting and advising students required. Familiarity with legal resumes, the law firm landscape nationally, and the OCI process strongly preferred.
