About the Opportunity:
The Roux Institute at Northeastern University seeks a postdoctoral AI/ML fellow to Join their team! The primary work location of this role will be the Portland Maine campus. Work and travel to the Boston campus may be required.

The institute offers graduate education and research capabilities in areas that will revolutionize life and work: AI, computer and data sciences, digital engineering, and the advanced life sciences and medicine.

Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in computational systems biology within the Roux Institute at Northeastern, Portland ME. This position will be within the Life Sciences and Medical Research vertical of the Institute. The postdoc will contribute to and help lead projects related to the development and validation of predictive large-scale gene and protein regulatory network models in mouse models of disease and in human disease. The position will be supervised by Professor Raimond Winslow, will be conducted with experimental researchers who are collaborating partners of the Roux Institute, and will include opportunities for collaboration with other faculty at the Roux Institute and the College of Engineering, Northeastern University.

  • Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related fields required.

  • Experience with statistical and/or dynamical systems modeling of biological systems and methods of network analysis

  • Background in control theory desirable
