Job Description

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide Campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSAC 520: Aviation Cybersecurity Threats, Actors, Tools, and Techniques.

Course Description

This course explores the cybersecurity threats and actors that pose risks to aviation. It reviews both the tools and techniques used by malicious actors and those used to defend against the threats and attacks. This course provides the fundamentals of developing an incident response plan and operational defense plan to prepare an organization to respond to cybersecurity threats and attacks.


Applicant Qualifications

A minimum of a Doctorate degree in discipline is required (please see list of acceptable disciplines below), as well as relevant industry experience from within the last 7 years.

Applicable Professional Certification
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC)
  • CompTIA Security+
Desired Professional Training or Experience

Specific industry, military or university training, or experience in aviation cybersecurity or general cybersecurity development or operations.
