Physical Education and Sport and Exercise Science (SES) Full-Time, Term Faculty, 2021 Fall Semester

Position Description: Benedictine University School of Education invites applications for a full­ time, 9 month, term faculty appointment as Instructor. Appointment date is August 2021.

Responsibilities:
• Teaching as outlined in the University Faculty Handbook
• Serve as Academic Advisor for program majors.
• Facilitate curriculum development, implementation, and progression of the Physical Education and Sport and Exercise Science programs.
• Participate in the systematic program evaluation of the programs.
• Collaborate with programs in the areas of health education, nutrition and exercise physiology.
• Participate in professional and community activities.
• Participate in academic activities at Department, College and University level.

Required Qualifications:



•Master's degree in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field from an accredited institution;
•Ability to interact successfully within a multicultural environment and to work harmoniously with colleagues, students and the community

Preferred qualifications
•Doctorate preferred and required for appointment as Assistant Professor
•NSCA or ACSM certification
