Oregon Tech is seeking applications for an Associate Dean of Students & Director of Career Services in the Department of Student Affairs. This is a 12-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Wilsonville, Oregon. The Associate Dean of Students and Director of Career Services (ADOS/DCS) is responsible for oversight and coordination of Student Affairs-related student services at the Oregon Tech Portland-Metro (PM) campus; additionally, the ADOS/DCS supervises International Student Services and Career Services for all campuses. The ADOS/DCS supports Student Affairs program assessment and coordinates Student Affairs NWCCU accreditation requirements. This position supervises Student Affairs staff located at the Portland-Metro campus and coordinates supervision with the Director of Center for Academic Resources and Engagement Services (CARES) and the Director of Student Involvement & Belonging (SIB) in Klamath Falls. Responsibilities also include direct student contact (individual or group meetings) to address student needs.

Required:

  • Master’s degree and 5 years relevant experience (including 2 years supervising full-time staff and/or students) 
  • Experience with computer software programs, including databases 
  • Experience in one or more areas of student services on college campuses

Preferred: 

  • Master’s degree with 5-8 years experience and at least 2 years supervisory experience
