Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics and Cancer Genomics in the Department of Pathology and the State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (Ref.: 507865), to commence as soon as possible for two to three years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in bioinformatics, genetics, computational biology or other relevant disciplines, and in-depth experience in at least one of the following programming languages: R, Python, C/C++ and JAVA. Experience in cancer research and/or molecular biology will be an advantage. Preference will be given to those with expertise in bioinformatics and computational biology. Applicants should have good oral and written communication skills in English, the ability to work independently as well as in a team, and the ability to contribute intellectually to research development.The appointee will join a multi-disciplinary team and investigate the molecular mechanism of liver cancer. He/She will conduct translational research utilizing next-generation sequencing, liquid biopsy, single-cell sequencing and other cutting-edge technologies.
