Position Summary:
The Protection and Permanency Learning and Development Facilitator will create, develop and deliver Protection and Permanency training based on assessed needs using in-house resources as well as those available outside the Training Branch such as universities, experts in their fields, private contractors, etc.
The scope of work for this position will include projects consistent with the mission of the Training Resource Center (TRC), Training Branch and Department for Community Based Services (DCBS) and could include, but not limited to: implicit bias, racial equity, motivational interviewing, recruitment and certification, Field Training Specialist Program, and adult protective services.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
Master’s preferred.

Minimum Experience:
At least three years of related experience in Protection and Permanency required. Proficiency in using the TWIST system is preferred.

Special Instructions Summary:
The Training Resource Center (TRC) provides Administrative and Training Support Services to the Department for Community Based Services. The funding is in whole or part from federal, CHFS or other state funds and subject to annual renewal. This is a contract EKU position. Travel may be required. The office location will depend upon the location of the candidate chosen. Remote work is a possibility.
