Through this network, we expand opportunities for flexible, student-centered learning and collaborative, solutions-focused research.

Northeastern's comprehensive array of undergraduate and graduate programs— in a variety of on-campus and online formats—lead to degrees through the doctorate in nine colleges and schools. Among these, we offer more than 195 multi-discipline majors and degrees designed to prepare students for purposeful lives and careers.

About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Director of the LGBTQA Resource Center, the Assistant Director for Programs is a member of a dynamic team of professionals focused on fostering greater awareness, knowledge and skills around LGBTQA+ identities, culture and inclusion through providing individualized, in person and online support for LGBTQA+ learners. The Assistant Director for Programs will work closely with the Director to further develop and grow the Center's engagement and support to meet the needs of a diverse LGBTQA+ population on Northeastern's campuses as well as a growing network across the globe.

Responsibilities:
This individual will assist the Director in overseeing the successful implementation of departmental operations. This student-facing position has a special emphasis on organizing and executing signature programs, creating new programs to meet student needs, and providing support for the growing number of affinity groups associated with our center. Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field with at least 1-3 years of experience working with diverse or marginalized populations or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of social justice issues and best practices, programming, student activism and diversity issues is a must. Knowledge of international LGBTQA climates is preferred. Specific experience in providing direct services to historically underrepresented and LGBTQ students in an urban, multicultural, and global environment preferred.
