Vacancy Number: S-00773 Position Title: Multimedia Specialist Classification Title: Photographic Specialist Department: Office of University Communications Employment Type: Full-Time Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates video camera, on location or in a studio environment, to create professional pre-recorded programming in support of university public relations and marketing initiatives.

Computer edits video segments in a variety of digital formats.

Utilizes creativity, as well as knowledge of lighting, composition, camera/lens placement, and audio to create compelling short- and long-form video pieces.

Work with Offices of Communications and Marketing, as well as constituents across the university, to provide video services that support the university brand and strategic goals.

Perform the scheduling, planning/storyboarding and production of video shoots and occasional still photography photo shoots and complete all necessary post-production processing.

Perform video editing, correction, archival and file storage.

Perform occasional still photography.

Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of video and photographic techniques
Knowledge of lighting, composition, camera/lens combination and editing software (including, but not limited to Premier Pro, Final Cut, Photoshop, and After Effects, among others)
Knowledge of the uses and effects of various lighting and audio methods
Interpersonal skills
Oral communication skills
Ability to make recommendations toward the purchase of necessary video equipment and supplies
Ability to work creatively under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects
Ability to maintain records/correspondence related to work
Ability to work efficiently with others Minimum Qualifications:
