Major/Essential Functions
Represents TTUHSC School of Health Professions to prospective students, current students, staff, and faculty to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals.
Develop and implement recruitment engagement with colleges, universities, community colleges, high schools and applicable community partners.
Develop and deliver TTUHSC, SHP and program specific presentations. Population attendance will vary from 1-300.
Travel as necessary to attend high schools, higher education institutions, career fairs, and community events and/or at profession-specific recruitment events.
Work collaboratively with the SHP recruitment team to enhance SHP brand awareness.
Manage recruitment visits including reservations, payment and budget.
Serve as admission advisor to prospective SHP students and SHP applicants. Ensure program requirements are met by comparing degree requirements and contents of courses offered with those of other colleges and universities.
Assist with application processing, new student onboarding, enrollment management, recruitment, marketing and student affairs daily processes and projects as needed.
Assist in answering phones and email received fielding questions about the TTUHSC School of Health Professions.
Maintain relationships with Pre-Health Professions contacts at colleges and universities.
Actively participate and maintain membership in the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO) and Texas Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (TAAHP) associations.
Manage and maintain timelines, track and communicate development of project progress.
Assist with TTUHSC School of Health Professions events.
