Major/Essential Functions

The faculty member will provide adult acute care services at Hendrick Medical Center. The School of Pharmacy has partnered with the Hendrick Medical Center for over 10 years to provide outstanding patient care and educational programs.
The faculty member’s teaching responsibilities will include didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based, and experiential teaching within the School of Pharmacy curriculum. The faculty member will engage in scholarship and service and will be expected to train pharmacy residents.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a PGY1 residency in Pharmacy Practice. A PGY2 residency in Internal Medicine or other inpatient focus area, Board Certification, and teaching experience are strongly preferred. Licensure or eligibility to be licensed in the state of Texas is required. Professorial level will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
