Governors State University’s College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of local (Chicagoland area) Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach in the graduate Public Administration ( PADM ) program. Adjunct faculty will be expected to teach face-to-face courses offered on the Governors State University campus in University Park, Illinois

For consideration, interested individuals are invited to complete a cover letter that explains their qualifiions to teach, complete a faculty profile that includes a curriculum vitae, and submit transcripts.

At Governors State University, Adjunct Faculty are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Adjuncts are not a part of the faculty bargaining unit and are not included in membership of the Faculty Senate. Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. Public Administration or a closely related field is required. Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have teaching experience at the graduate level and will have positive teaching evaluations that reflect enthusiastic and innovative instruction.
