Through a Traffic and Highway Safety grant and under the direct supervision of the Program Manager – Breath Alcohol Program:
1. Coordinate all functions of the Breath Alcohol Instrument Service and Repair Laboratory.
2. Teach in the Breath Alcohol Instrument training program.
3. Assist carrying out the duties of the annual Impaired Driving Countermeasures grant.

Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, Electronics, Chemistry or related field is preferred.

Education may be substituted for experience or experience may be substituted for education. Note that equivalencies are based on the following: AA or 60 credit hours = 2 years experience; BA/BS or 120 credit hours = 4 years experience; MA/MS = 6 years experience. Computer Skills Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation Experience
1.) Two years law enforcement experience, or service and repair of electronic instrumentation.
2.) Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience with impaired driving countermeasures.
3.) Demonstrated experience in adult teaching techniques and application Other Experience Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements of Position: Criminal History check, Driver's license, Missouri license required Other Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, & State/Federal Requirements
-Missouri Type-II Supervisor certified, Preferred

-Certified training on all MO approved breath alcohol instruments, Preferred or obtained within first 18 months of hire.
-Certified as an expert witness by the MO court system, Preferred or obtained within first 12 months of hire.
-Type-II Supervisor certified, Preferred or within first 12 months of hire.
