Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSHF 647 Human Factors in Complex Systems.
Course Description
This course provides an examination of organizations and sustainable systems as socio-technical systems, including socio-technical approaches to design, implementation, and management. The focus of the course explores the understanding of effective interactions among people who work across organizational, geographical, cultural, technological, and temporal boundaries, as a means to design effective complex socio-technical systems. Discussions include participative design and decision-making; quality of work life; semi-autonomous work groups; organizational ecology; and collective resource approaches to planning.

A minimum of a Doctorate degree in discipline is required (please see list of acceptable disciplines below), as well as relevant industry experience from within the last 7 years.
