Job Description
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach MSPO 510 - The Satellite Communications Industry.
Course Description:
The course provides students with a focused, integrated perspective of the communications satellite industry. The course derives its focus from the fact that the scope is confined to communications satellites. Adjacent sectors are only considered in their interfaces with the communications satellite industry. The course is integrated in its consideration of the full range of knowledge of the communications satellite industry in a single course.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Doctoral degree in discipline is required (please see list of acceptable disciplines below), as well as relevant industry experience from within the last 7 years.
Applicable Professional Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Desired Professional Training or Experience
Specific industry, military or university training, or experience in space operations development or management, ideally within the satellite industry, including: working in the science or business of space, to include manufacturing, operations, finance, or entrepreneurship.
Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline
