The Biology Department seeks qualified individuals to join our adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in current and future, part-time teaching assignments at Simmons University.

Currently, the Biology Department is seeking an adjunct for BIOL 332: Exercise Physiology Lab Instructor.

Instructor(s) needed for BIOL 332: Exercise Physiology Labs, meeting on Mondays from 3-5:50pm, Mondays 6-8:50pm, and Wednesdays from 11:00am - 1:50pm during the Fall semester (9/1/2021 through 12/21/2021). Studies the physiological and adaptive responses of the human body to acute and chronic exercise stress. Examines how exercise affects the major organ systems across the spectrum of healthy and unhealthy populations. Laboratory uses a variety of exercise equipment to apply physiological concepts to exercise testing, prescription, and training.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred at the college level.
