About the Opportunity:
This is a Temporary Part-time opportunity in the Bouve College of Health Sciences

This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position. Dates of TNS position: August 23, 2021 - December 1, 2021
Please note: The primary work location for this position is the Boston MA Northeastern University Campus Location. Until our full return to campus, this interview process will be conducted remotely- including virtual interviews, remote onboarding and remote work. The remote nature of this position is subject to change in the future and is only temporary. Local, on-campus work will be required once the College and this role return to an operational status that supports it.

Managing the Health Sciences Entrepreneurs program, including close interaction with the HSE Entrepreneur in Residence, the Bouve Development office and with high-level volunteers and donors, as well as with various university departments and programs.

Responsible for project management of various HSE, Innovation, and Research-related publications, communication with the Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) Associate Dean of Research and Innovation, Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni, and HSE Board Members.

Support the activities of the HSE program, connecting with mentors, ventures, and the NU entrepreneurial community. Assist with scheduling events (e.g., mentoring sessions, office hours, board meetings, EIR outreach meetings, etc.), as well as event planning, organization, and execution. The individual will manage the budget and assist with expense oversight. S/he will be integrally involved in working alongside the EIR and ADR to develop and cultivate new initiatives at Bouve related to Research and Innovation.

5-7 years of progressive experience in project management, development, entrepreneurship, or related area.

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Excellent organizational skills are expected - the ability to understand and convey University programs, priorities, and issues to a wide variety of audiences.

Excellent writing and proofreading skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of the Northeastern University Research and Innovation team and Dean's staff.

Ability to be comfortable and confident in a variety of professional social settings where the audience is alumni, faculty, corporate partners, donors, and prospects, of Bouve and Northeastern.

An appreciation and understanding of the mission of Northeastern University; demonstrated commitment to and experience in higher education. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

An affirming, positive, motivational, entrepreneurial style. Strong personal work ethic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
