Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center is seeking a full-time Doctoral Faculty Member for the School of Anesthesia’s CRNA program in Spokane, Washington. In this position you will draw from your experience to help refine and improve the program in terms of evidence-based practices, quality improvement activities, skills related to clinical inquiry and interpretation of study findings/results. You will also participate in the evaluation of the DNAP while creating an effective learning environment for all. Be part of an exceptional education program prepping students to excel in a CRNA career in Eastern Washington.

  • Use innovative approaches to teaching and learning in the classroom to promote student learning
  • Develop goals and objectives, performance indicators and practical lessons
  • Communicate the impact of programs to internal and external audiences
  • Show knowledge of educational practices, principles, and learning styles
  • Efficiently solve practical problems that deal with situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, table/diagram, or schedule form
  • Strong communication skills, attentive listening/engagement, social awareness, self-management, and assertiveness required
  • At least 2 years’ experience is required
