Primary Purpose of Position:
North Carolina Central University School of Law seeks to hire a technology law fellow to join its newly created Technology Law and Policy Center. The fellowship is a full-time, two-year position. The technology law fellow position is meant to serve as a professional development opportunity for early career professionals who are interested in technology law and policy. The technology law fellow will work with the Executive Director and the Associate Dean of Technology and Innovation to provide instruction to the students, to provide career advice to the students, to conduct research on legal technology issues, and to produce scholarship. The technology law fellow will receive mentorship and networking opportunity from attorneys practicing in the technology law and policy areas.

Minimum Education/Experience:
• J.D. degree or equivalent international degree
• Expertise in one or more areas of technology-related law
• 1-3 years of professional experience in technology law

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently to produce quality scholarship
• Demonstrated interest in law and technology
