Denison University is an academically rigorous liberal arts

Denison University is seeking a Associate Director, Varsity D and
Athletics Engagement to create opportunities and offer value to
members of the Denison family to broaden and deepen their
relationship and engagement with the college, to increase public
awareness of Denison’s mission, achievements, and priorities, and
to help maximize philanthropic support for institutional
priorities.
Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree. A minimum five
(5) years of professional experience in a higher education setting
(alumni/parent relations, development, career or athletic center,
or student life), volunteer management role, or transferable work
experience. Must have demonstrated and successful experience
in marketing, communications, event planning and volunteer
management. Ability to think strategically and to utilize
metrics and data in analyzing programs and events. Must have
flexibility to travel and work an unconventional schedule,
including evenings/weekends. Excellent verbal, written
communications, effective interpersonal and social skills, and have
strong ability to connect with a variety of diverse
constituents. Must have a high competency with electronic
technology (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Google
Suite, CRM tools, and online social networking sites
including Facebook and LinkedIn). Possess a high level of fiscal
responsibility. Must have a current, valid driver’s license and
must be insurable under Denison’s liability insurance policy.
