The Department of Chemistry in the College of Arts & Sciences at American University invites applications for an adjunct faculty appointment for Academic Year 2021-2022. Rank and appointment term will be dependent on experience and stature in the field. Applicants should hold a BS or higher in the field of chemistry or biochemistry. For the 2021-2022 academic year, the department’s greatest need is for General Chemistry Laboratories. However, lecture courses may become available, depending on the course schedule and the experience and stature of the candidate.
Salary is set based on the highest degree of the candidate and the Adjunct Collective Bargaining Agreement.
