Summary/Objective

The Technical Product Manager is a key member of the Vice Provost & Chief Online Officer’s office who manages multiple technology projects while building relationships with university schools, departments, and teams to support cross- functional needs. This individual works closely with internal teams (OIT, Marketing & Recruitment, and Academic Technology) and external vendors to implement and build out the proper processes, workflows, dashboards, reports, and customizations within HubSpot and other technology integrations. This individual is involved in all phases of product management and development and collaborates with key stakeholders to meet desired business outcomes.

Essential Functions
  1. HubSpot Management: Work closely with the organization’s leadership to maintain HubSpot and other systems in alignment with the direction and mission of the university. Assist cross-functional teams and internal resources to define process requirements and change requests related to the recruitment processes. Provides day-to-day end-user support including implementation, user adoption, system administration, data integrity, and reporting for all sales enablement tools. Acts as primary manager of HubSpot, including the creation and iterative improvements of workflows, custom fields and data flow management processes.
  2. Reporting and Data Management Lead: Support organizational goals by providing technology innovation and integration for existing system and expanding services to allow for the effective use of data generated to enhance lead generation and recruitment performance. Works in partnership with data analyst to build dashboards.
  3. Systems Management: Oversees data integrity within HubSpot CRM through data import management, data auditing, cleanup and deduping, and workflow management with focus on sustainable, scalable processes. Maintain system documentation for HubSpot, CRM, Google Analytics, and contact center software. Serves as a liaison between schools and departments, technology teams, vendors, and other support teams. Leads the continuous enhancement and delivery of new product functionality by gathering, prioritizing, and documenting requirements. Takes initiative to plan and execute work, meeting deadlines and achieving expectations in alignment with project requirements.
  4. WordPress Site Management: Oversees environment and reviews site traffic and performance. Ensures plugins and WordPress environment is up to date with latest patches. Works in partnership with website developers to make updates as needed. Ensures Google Analytics and lead capture forms are working properly. Runs test on new pages to make sure sites are fully WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
  5. Contact Center Software Management Oversees contact center phone system administration. Work with managers to manage user accounts and reports. Make sures phone system is properly working with HubSpot.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience


Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master's degree
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of higher education administrative systems and related business principles, methods and procedures highly desirable.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a CRM Administrator required, HubSpot CRM preferred
  • 1+ year of experience with relational databases, data governance, and process improvement
  • Experience developing end-user reports using SQL required
  • Strong data management abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify actionable insights through data analysis to support data-driven business decisions
  • Proven experience creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, and managing dashboards
  • Superb time management, prioritization of tasks and ability to meet deadlines independently
