Job Description:

Fairfield University Dolan School of Business invites applications for part-time faculty members to teach the following fall 2021 course:

BUSN 32110-Legal Environment of Business, 3 credits, Monday from 6:30-9:00 pm; Wednesday from 6:30-9:00 pm

This course examines the broad philosophical as well as practical nature and function of the legal system, and introduces students to the legal and social responsibilities of business. The course includes an introduction to the legal system, the federal courts, Constitutional law, the United States Supreme Court, the civil process, and regulatory areas such as employment discrimination, protection of the environment, and corporate governance and securities markets.

Applicants should have a JD degree. The candidate will teach 2 sections.

Teaching experience is preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately. The positions will remain open until filled. This position is based at Fairfield University’s Fairfield, CT campus.
