Overview:
This 18-month Program Coordinator will work with colleagues across campus to award emergency aid to COM students. Working in the COM Foundation with Executive Director, the Program Coordinator will help award emergency aid for college tuition, fees, stipends, and aid to get eligible students back on their feet on the road to recovery. We hope to recruit and serve approximately 2,000 students.

Minimum Education/Training/Experience
Associates Degree or higher and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Excel or database work. Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Experience with Colleague software or similar student information systems, expert-level Excel experience, grants, advising students or in customer service, and working with students of higher education preferred. Minimum Knowledge & Skills

N/A Job Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• must have strong Excel or database skills;

• utilize on-campus resources to provide outreach and support potential and current students who have been impacted by COVID -19;

• make contact with students and assist with emergency aid applications;

• coordinate and be in compliance with criteria for program eligibility determination;

• create and maintain records/files of client information for reporting, tracking and audit compliance;

• complete all reporting as required by the Department of Education;

• work with Grants Compliance Officer and Grants Accountant to ensure compliance and budget monitoring;

• completes other duties as assigned by Executive Director of COM Foundation and Resource Development. Physical Requirements
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT : No or very limited exposure to physical risk. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Must be willing to travel for college business.
