Department of Psychology Two Full-time Assistant Professor Positions

Department of Psychology invites applications for two full-time Assistant Professor positions. We are looking for candidates with a strong potential to develop a focused and prolific research agenda. One of the positions is for candidates in Clinical Psychology. The second position is open to eligible applicants from Developmental, Cognitive, Sports and Exercise Psychology, and Neuroscience. Applicants who work at the intersection of any of these areas are especially encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be expected to teach English curriculum for undergraduate and graduate courses. Knowledge of Turkish is not required.

Kadir Has University is a highly competitive private institution at the heart of Istanbul, Turkey with large enrollment in psychology. The department currently offers an undergraduate degree and two M. A. degrees in “Psychological Sciences” and “Sports & Health Psychology” (the only such program in Turkey) with plans to start a doctoral program in Psychological Sciences in the near future. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until positions are filled. Successful candidates are expected to start by September 2021 earliest; a later starting date is negotiable.
