Additional Schedule Details: This position is remote and based in Bowling Green, KY or Owensboro, KY or a nearby area. This position requires frequent travel and evening and weekend hours. This position requires periodic travel to the main university campus in Richmond, KY.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Recruitment is responsible for identifying and recruiting qualified, new undergraduate students to the University. The position may be based off-campus in a regional location of high recruitment potential or on campus. The position will conduct market analysis, employ data analysis to help move prospective students through the recruitment lifecycle, use predictive modeling, recommend and implement recruitment strategies, and establish relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community members involved in the college search and selection process as well as host presentations. The position will have an individual territory and a regional territory, providing strategic direction and support of initiatives and other counselors in those regions. This position will serve as the Admissions liaison to targeted associations and community organizations and assist with and manage partnership agreements. They will use a Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and other software to manage territories, develop communications in all mediums, create queries and reports, and create and manage travel and events. They will orchestrate all travel to ensure maximum coverage of state, regional, and national college fairs in selected markets. They will also assist with and participate in University hosted recruitment events, create events and programming aimed at recruiting prospective students, provide training, mentoring, and support to other counselors.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s preferred.



Minimum Experience:
-Three years of related work experience is required.
-Previous experience as an Admissions Counselor or progressive leadership experience in Admissions is preferred.


Minimum Licensure and Certification:
Valid state driver’s license is required.

Job Functions:
Identify and recruit undergraduate students to the University by establishing relationships, coordinating and attending recruitment events and programs, and following established guidelines and procedures.
Counsel prospective students, families, and others regarding admissions and enrollment processes and assist with various processes to include, but not limited to, submitting the admissions application, and applying for scholarships and housing.
Utilize various forms of technology and review and analyze data to support recruitment strategies. Determine effective strategies based on existing and evaluated recruitment data.
Develop, coordinate and execute recruitment strategies and provide support for key recruitment initiatives in designated regions. Assists with achieving individual, unit and overall University goals identified in the strategic plan.
Assist with vacancies, hiring, and training processes for new counselors and provide ongoing leadership within a designated recruitment region and support and mentorship to other counselors.
Work in cooperation and collaboration with other university departments and complete all other duties as assigned.
