Athletic Compliance Services

Job Summary
The Compliance Specialist will provide support for the Athletic Compliance Office in all aspects of the comprehensive compliance program for seventeen varsity sports, including rules education, monitoring, and enforcement.

Responsibilities
  • Perform related duties as assigned to support the mission of the University
  • Coordination of precertification process to evaluate initial eligibility, amateurism, and admission status for prospective student-athletes
  • Execution of recruiting monitoring systems specifically in regards to official and unofficial visit monitoring
  • Game day activities (e.g. complimentary tickets)
  • Data entry in compliance software for recruiting, eligibility, and financial aid
  • Coordinate NLI and grant in aid processes

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience
  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience which could include professional work experience, graduate assistantship experience, and/or appropriate collegiate experience

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience
  • Three or more years of related work experience in college athletics

Proposed Salary
$17.55 - $18.18 per hour

  • Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills
  • Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases and NCAA Compliance software (ARMS, Jumpforward, NCAA CAi, etc.)
