Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Athletics Trainer in Sports Medicine.

The candidate would be expected to: assist with providing athletic training services for all student-athletes within the athletic department; specific team assignments are Field Hockey and Women's Basketball (subject to change based on the needs of the department); assist with the coordination of pre-participation physicals; serve as liaison for International Student-Athlete Insurance program; assist with the maintenance of training room supplies.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately

Required Years of Experience: 2

Other Requirements:
Two years of collegiate athletic training experience. Current New Jersey State Athletic Trainer licensure or obtain by date of employment. NATABOC certified.

Must be able to travel, work weekends and in all types of weather. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree.
