The University of Maryland, Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking applications and nominations for a full-time faculty position as Director of the Adult Special Needs Clinic in the Department of Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery. Responsibilities include the administrative leadership and setting the vision of the clinic, academic teaching and clinical supervision of undergraduate students and care of patients.

Qualifications :

Receipt of a DDS, DMD, or equivalent degree, and licensure to practice dentistry in Maryland, is required. The candidates must be an experienced general dentist and must have demonstrated expertise in managing special needs patients in both the clinic and OR setting. Administrative experience within an academic department is required and previous clinical involvement with a hospital department will be an advantage. A record of graduate (resident) and undergraduate teaching is required.
