The Auburn University at Montgomery, College of Business, Department of Information Systems, invites applications to fill a Visiting Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems. The department is seeking qualified individuals to teach a variety of courses which may include system analysis and design, database management/programming, IS Project Management, Data Communication/Computer networking, SAP ERP, or other courses related to information systems and data analytics.

The nine-month position start date will be immediate. Candidates will be expected to teach both traditional graduate and undergraduate courses, including online courses. The primary responsibility of this position is excellent teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels with a load of three courses per fall and spring semesters. Successful candidates will work professionally and collegially with the department chair and faculty as well as have experience working with a diverse population of students.

Auburn University at Montgomery is a coeducational public university located in Montgomery, Alabama. It is the metropolitan campus of Auburn University. AUM offers programs of study leading to Bachelor’s, Master’s and specialist degrees in Business, Education, Liberal Arts, Nursing, and Science. In addition, AUM offers Doctorates in the three programs in the conjunction with Auburn University. The university enrolls approximately 5,000 students, with an additional 10,000 enrolled in continuing education programs.
