Under general direction assists director with the planning, scheduling, organizing and directing of food service activities with major emphasis on catering. Job requires well-developed verbal skills to present and exchange technical or complex information. Interpersonal contacts include college students, staff and individuals from businesses regarding catering arrangements. Incumbent is a key contributor with work results impacting the accuracy, reliability and acceptability of further results beyond the immediate work section. Responsible for producing work with minimum guidance or direction.

These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position.
Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications.
-Experience with basic accounting/bookkeeping principles and a working knowledge of federal and state rules/regulations related to area of responsibility.
-Experience communicating complex information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; detail oriented; and able to apply complex mathematical calculations in processing transactions.
-Experience analyzing and interpreting data for accuracy.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead, train, and coordinate the work of others.
-Experience with various computer applications, including comprehensive databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software. -Proficient in the use of keyboarding and a 10-key calculator is required.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Three years of commercial food service operations coordination experience, including responsibility for catering, budget monitoring and customer relations.
Knowledge of County/State/Federal health and safety regulations pertaining to commercial food service operations. Knowledge of office systems required.
Strong written and oral communications skills. Must be organized and detail oriented. Accurate keyboarding and data entry and word processing skills required.
Position Grade 18 Starting Salary Expectations The first two steps of the range are: $42,241 to $43,508 per year. Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity. Position Grade Salary Range $42241 to $67785 Annual Salary FTE 1.0 PCC Benefits
