Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities
The person in this position will perform tryptase immunoassays for the diagnostic determination of total and tryptase, calculate the amount of each tryptase, generate the reports, and notify each office that sends samples. The position is also responsible for maintaining all records in a neat and orderly fashion, allowing quick access to them. Solutions, antibodies, plates and all other components necessary for these assays, as well as maintaining the equipment utilized, will be the responsibility of the person in this position. Minimum Hiring Standards
Knowledge of or the ability to learn immunoassay techniques is required for this position. A working knowledge of basic computer programs, such as word processing, database, and spreadsheet software, is also required for this position. Science background/training and some laboratory experience are required. Ability to work in a diverse environment required. Preferred Hiring Standards
Ability to multitask and work on various projects.
