Position Summary

Health Services is accepting applications in an effort to fill the Student Immunization Compliance Specialist position.

As the Student Immunization Compliance Specialist, your duties will include:
  • Oversee health requirement operations for Health Services to ensure compliance with New York State Public Health Laws, university policy and department requirements for attendance.
  • Regularly monitor compliance with electronic health record system and university Student Information System ( HUB ).
  • Generate complete, accurate reports regarding student compliance with immunization policy and applicable state laws.
  • Serve as the primary contact for student immunization compliance inquiries.
  • Data entry and health record review.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience in a medical office or college health setting
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to vaccination and laboratory testing for immunity
  • Familiarity with NYSDOH Public Health Law 2165 and 2167
