Job Description

This clinical track faculty position will be filled at the Instructor rank. Responsibilities include: Provide diagnostic Veterinary Clinical Pathology Service to include cytology, hematology and clinical chemistry; Provide clinical pathology instruction for DVM students; Train Clinical Pathology residents that include teaching advanced courses, and participate in Clin Path workshop for anatomic path residents; Actively participate in weekly slide seminar and journal clubs; Adhere to the responsibilities of the faculty as described by the Faculty Handbook (www.provost.vt.edu/fhb.html).

Required Qualifications

D.V.M. or equivalent; Diplomate of A.C.V.P.; A.C.V.P. board eligible; Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Significant experience in diagnostic clinical pathology, excellent teaching skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a collaborative team member.
