Job Description:

The Psychology Department seeks qualified individuals to join our adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in future, part-time teaching assignments at Worcester State.

Adjunct faculty members teach 3-credit undergraduate courses, typically at the introductory level. There is a possibility of teaching electives as listed in the current catalog as well. Faculty with experience teaching Statistics and/or Research Methods are preferred.

Total credits will vary from 3 - 9 in the day division, DGCE, or a combination thereof.


Requirements:

  1. Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
  2. College teaching experience is preferred.
  3. Experience with distance learning preferred.
  4. Must have a laptop and reliable internet access.

Adjunct faculty postings are for potential part-time, non-benefited, teaching positions during the 2021-2022 academic year.

The applicant pool will be reviewed by the department chair, when searching for candidates to fill the position.

Applicants for adjunct positions will not be notified of their status unless they are contacted by the department chair or their designee.

Applicants should withdraw their application from the pool if they are no longer interested.
