Position Summary:

Principal Duties:

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in a clinical practice in the diagnosis and treatment of normal Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as in the disorders related to the female reproductive system.
The individual will participate in patient care and service needs of the division at the UW Health Clinics. Responsibilities of this position include inpatient and outpatient case management, gynecological surgery, labor and delivery coverage, and participation in teaching activities with residents, interns and medical students. Development and participation in research is encouraged and protected time can be arranged for appropriate individuals.

The successful candidate will teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD or DO, BC/BE Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Board Certification/Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Appointment at clinical associate professor rank would require documented credentials appropriate to the rank and review by the SMPH promotion and appointment committee for the Clinical Teacher Track.

License or Certificate:

Eligible for Wisconsin medical license

Additional Information:

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States on or before the effective date of the appointment.
