Job Summary

The Athletics Department at Auburn University is seeking qualified candidates for Video Coordinator- Women’s Volleyball (Contract Position).

This is a contract position and the appointment will be reviewed, renewed, and/or ended at the sole discretion of Auburn Athletics.

Essential Functions

  • Skills video editing, video lighting and composition, camera operation, audio recording, and video production.
  • Able to shoot, edit and composite footage for internal team projects and external social video features. Videos include but are not limited to long-form, psych-ups, highlights videos, teaching and recruiting materials.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Premiere Pro and Photoshop).
  • Ability to produce and create exciting audio-visual content through video and images are required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including frequent evenings, weekends, and be able to travel with the volleyball team.
  • Strong time management skills, as well as understanding of video & creative project workflow.
  • Familiar with multiple video file formats and media archival systems.
  • Experience in the volleyball space, but proficient in video production.
  • Understand and adhere to a variety of department and brand standards, as well as NCAA and SEC compliance policies.
  • Track best practices among other professional sports teams/leagues, content creators and influencers.
  • Other duties as assigned by Volleyball Head Coach


Education Level

Bachelor's degree

Field of Study

Degree in Media Studies, Communications, RTVF (Radio, Television, Film), Broadcast Journalism, or related discipline.
