A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Daeha Joung in the Department of Physics at Virginia Commonwealth University ( https://sites.google.com/view/joungresearchgroup/home ). The primary responsibility of this position will be developing a 3D printing/bioprinting living platform (biomedical devices) to open new opportunities to test therapeutic options. Preference will be given to applicants with research experience in human induced pluripotent stem cells, 3D cell culture, tissue engineering, bioprinting, or biomaterials.

Duties/responsibilities (broken down by percentage of time):
  • performing high-level experimental research and data analysis (70%)
  • presentations, publication, and proposal preparation (20%)
  • laboratory organization and management (10%)
Required Qualifications
PhD/M.D./D.V.M. Preferred Qualifications
