Position Student Financial Aid Advisor/Processor Full Time/Part Time Full Time Job Type Regular Position Summary
This position is responsible for evaluating, approving, and awarding financial aid to students in accordance with federal, state, and university regulations, policies and operational guidelines. Responsible for maintenance of all Campus Based Aid. Duties and Responsibilities
Assess financial needs of students. Advise students and parents regarding financial aid. Processes student applications for federal and state aid. Participates as appropriate in systems/procedures planning. Responds to inquiries and resolves problems related to transactions handled by the department. Serves as liaison with state, federal, tribal and other agencies. Analyze and evaluate financial viability of students and families. Review and assess eligibility for federal aid. Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Two years experience in Financial Aid or Accounting or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Special Conditions for Eligibility Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work in high performing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of financial aid policies and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Physical Demands
• Limited physical effort required. • Limited exposure to physical risk. Working Environment
