The Department of Theology at the University of Notre Dame invites applications for a full time faculty position as Associate Director of Master of Arts Program in Theology (https://theology.nd.edu/graduate-programs/m-a/). The Associate Director will work collaboratively with the MA Program Director in overseeing the MA Program. Principal areas of responsibility for the Associate Director include: 1. teaching, both for the MA Program and undergraduate core Theology courses; 2. recruiting MA students and marketing the MA Program; and 3. Advising MA students. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Theology and will have demonstrated excellent pedagogical skills in collegiate teaching. Experience in ecclesial ministry in the Catholic Church and the ability to form pastoral leaders for a diverse Church and world, including the ability to teach in Spanish, is preferred. Administrative experience is also desirable. The successful candidate will also be drawn to the mission of the University of Notre Dame, which seeks a distinctive educational and scholarly excellence that is founded on its Catholic identity, and to the contribution of the Theology Department within that larger vision.
