About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Student Financial Services, the Associate Director will be responsible for the oversight and management of the Northeastern University Student Temp program. The Associate Director will be the lead on student talent acquisition and responsible for assessing the capabilities of those students who participate in this initiative. The Associate Director will take the lead on creating and maintaining relationships with all necessary university partners utilizing this program and the student employees involved and the continued expansion of the services rendered.

Responsibilities:
The Associate Director will be responsible for the oversight of student employee training, as well as supervising the adherence to all federal, state and institutional policies, procedures and regulations regarding legal on-campus employment. He/she will oversee payroll finalization of all student employees and ensure compliance of federal employment guidelines.

The Associate Director will be responsible for the managing the end to end revenue process including revenue generation, revenue reporting and all other budgetary responsibilities associated with the NU Temps budget. The Associate Director will be responsible for identifying and developing all revenue generating opportunities within NU Temps.

The Associate Director will be responsible for all supervision of employees including any full time staff and/or student employees/co-ops.

The Associate Director will oversee the implementation of systems and technology associated with the program and the performance of its reporting functionality.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years in Student Employment or Human Resources

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred

  • Strong project management skills and ability to implement and manage multiple projects

  • Knowledge of performance metrics

  • Excellent technical skills

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

  • Strong oral/written communications and analytical skills

  • Must be decisive and results oriented

  • Creative thinking skills and solutions-oriented

    Salary Grade:
    12
