DEAN, SCHOOL OF NURSING

The Dean is the chief administrative and fiscal officer of the School of Nursing and is responsible for the overall operation of the School. The Dean embodies the mission, values, and goals of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and the School of Nursing. The Dean of the School of Nursing will embrace and embody diversity, equity and inclusion, ensuring academic excellence and inclusivity within all facets of the School of Nursing. The Dean reports to the University Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and will be evaluated based on University protocol.

The SIUE School of Nursing offers a diverse, vibrant, and supportive environment.  Students learn excellence in nursing leadership through innovative teaching, quality research, community service, and compassionate care.

The School includes Undergraduate and Graduate Programs. Undergraduate (U/G): Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Traditional); Accelerated Option for RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Graduate: Master of Science, Healthcare and Nursing Administration; Master of Science, Healthcare and Nursing Administration/Healthcare Informatics; Master of Science, Nurse Educator; Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner; Doctor of Nursing Practice, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; Doctor of Nursing Practice, Nurse Anesthesia; Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice; Doctor of Nursing Practice/MBA. Enrollment for U/G for Fall 2021 is 1,294 and Graduate enrollment of 439.
