The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) is seeking applications for two full-time, tenure track, Assistant/Associate Professor positions. The successful candidates will be expected to develop a sustainable program of independent research. Current areas of research in the department include cell biology, cancer, inflammation, cardiovascular disease, and neurology. Applicants with expertise in immunology and/or virology are desirable; however, all fields of study will be considered. New laboratory space, a start-up package, and competitive salary are offered. In addition to research, the successful candidates are expected to contribute to medical education.

The minimum requirements for the position are a Ph.D. degree, post-doctoral experience, and evidence of sustained scholarly output. Preference will be given to candidates who have been successful in obtaining extramural funding. Although flexible, the expected start date for the position is December 1, 2021. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
