Job Description Summary

Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent formal training.
- Combination of education and related experience for a total of five to six years.
Criteria

- Serves as an integral part of the Adult Education program’s ABE / GED registration/ intake team (responsible for student registration, class placement, pre and post-testing)
- Works to achieve the Adult Education department’s strategic goals and contribute to the department’s annual report.
- Works as a team member with GED instructors, Program Coordinator, and Program Director.
- Manages data entry to enrollment reports (registration, pre-testing, post-testing)
- Collects, records, and verifies student data using required systems; maintains the accuracy and integrity of student data.
- Manages GED workshop process (from registration to completion).
- Manages social media platforms for the Adult Basic Education/ GED program.
- Responds to phone, email and walk-in inquiries; maintains contact with the general public; provides information and guidance regarding Adult Education programs.
- Attends internal and external meetings and communicates pertinent information, as needed.
- Conducts visits to program’s on/off-campus instructional sites within Prince George’s County, as needed
- Maintains effective communication with the PGCC community, utilizing PGCC communication technology and PGCC email regularly & exclusively.
- Performs all other duties as directed by the Program Director,
Adult Education Director, or designee.

- Ability to communicate with diverse populations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel including data spreadsheet modifications, and understanding of formulas.
Job Requirements
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work schedule subject to change based on the needs of the department.
- Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English.
- As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work.
