Operations Specialist

 

Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following two (2) positions: Operations Specialist (Financial Aid Specialist) in Financial Aid and Scholarships.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to: manage the paperless document imaging system and Financial Aid and Scholarships workflow processes to include management of student workers; responsible for quality control and regular audits of all received documents; organize daily mail delivery and pick-up with University Post Office and coordinating departments; ensure all outbound mail is folded and prepared for daily mail delivery according to the University and departmental schedules; process awards for financial aid applicants through Ellucian’s Colleague and the Department of Education’s electronic processing systems, including review of applications, submitting corrections, assisting with loan processing, budgeting and awarding funds; responsible for the successful import/export process of all ISIR corrections, to include data review, C-flag analysis, transaction updates and manual awarding;  and performing other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements: a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and experience are required.  Prior experience in student services and/or student life in a higher education setting is preferred.

Financial Aid Specialist II (AD80/086222) – Full-time position with benefits. State pay band: 04. Normal work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University. Minimal overnight travel, some nights and weekends will be required.
