To perform non-invasive imaging of tissue specimens in studies
involving immunological disease, bone generation, genetic and
respiratory diseases. The research technician will perform in vivo
imaging, anesthetic induction, maintenance and monitoring of
scientific experiments; animal colony maintenance; and laboratory
health and safety management. This includes performing supporting
biological techniques, such as buffer preparation animal tissue
handling; and disease monitoring in small animal models of human
disease; maintaining the animal colony including husbandry and
conducting routine lab safety procedures based on university
(IACUC) and EHS guidelines
