Job Description

Truckee Meadows Community College is recruiting for a Facilities Attendant for the Pennington Health Science Center. The position will provide assistance to students, faculty, and staff in all matters relating to support help, including Web Reg, Linktivity and computer/video equipment training. Other duties include, but are not limited to; understanding the security system database; arming and de-arming buildings; setting up facilities equipment for events and vendors; communicating with police when necessary; distribute supplies; and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Graduation from high school or equivalent education and six months of experience involving public contact.

Pursuant to NRS 284.4066, this position has been identified as affecting public safety. Persons offered employment in this position must submit to a pre-employment screening for controlled substances.

Schedule

The typical work schedule is varied 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 1:30-10:30 p.m., Fridays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., plus some weekends if needed. This is subject to change based on organizational needs and full-time morning hours from 8 am-5pm will also be required during the summer and winter breaks.
