Assistant Professor of Quantitative Social Science

The College of Arts and Letters at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking candidates for a full-time, tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor of Sociology. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Sociology or related field, with an interdisciplinary research agenda that includes quantitative approaches to studying social phenomena.

 

The successful candidate will employ quantitative methods or data science-based methods to address research questions in Sociology. Candidates should be able to teach introductory courses in their discipline, methods course in data analysis and / or quantitative methods for research, and upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in their area(s) of research.
