Job Description:

The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to hire qualified adjunct clinical faculty in women's health with experience in maternal/newborn care to provide clinical instruction in the Baccalaureate degree program.

Adjunct faculty are expected to instruct students in the clinical setting; provide support and guidance; and evaluate performance of learning outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team. Adjunct faculty work in collaboration with full-time faculty to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that assists students in the integration of knowledge, interprofessional communication, and development of professional values in the clinical practice setting.


Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification requirements per the PA State Board of Nursing include:

Shall hold at least one graduate degree in nursing or currently be enrolled in a graduate nursing program,

Shall be currently licensed as a registered nurse in Pennsylvania, and

Shall have expertise in their areas of instruction.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching or clinical instruction experience at the undergraduate level.
